HEY, I found it. I thought and thought and I finally remembered it was Trapper John from MASH, so I had to find out his name (thanks IMDb, it's Wayne Rogers), and then skimmed through his filmography...Miracle Landing (1990, TV). They changed the airline to Paradise from Aloha, but it's exactly that event.
Good ones! I added a few more, searching IMDb using the word FLIGHT.
There IS one I'm looking for that I can't recall the name. I think it might have been made for TV. It was about the Aloha 737 that blew it's top (and had a flight attendant sucked out of the airplane). When I flew for Frontier Airlines, I flew with the ex-husband of the female pilot on that Aloha flight. I searched IMDb for FLIGHT and for ALOHA, but I can't find it. I'm pretty sure there were a few familiar actors in the show, but I can't remember who.
Ugh. I think a fun thread would be, "Who would you WANT tied to an anthill and doused in honey?"
Who would be yours. I mean, if I only got to have one, it would be Julia. Would she be yours, or do you have another? (Juliette Lewis? Melanie Griffith?)
L. Bangs, which "Flirt" are you suggesting. There is a 2000, '95, 93, and '83. All but one are not described on IMDb, and a quick internet search was fruitless.
You know, I haven't seen it, and I can't find a good enough synopsis about it. Is it about the "making of" movies or TV or shows or something. I barely remember it coming out, and I was surprised with Hoffman and Travolta that it didn't last long in the theaters.
Odd, you can't search for "Day For Night" on IMDb. I did a web search and it came up, and then I searched Francois Truffaut on IMDb, and it came up with "Nuit américaine, La (1973)" and had "Day For Night" as an alternate (USA) title...but it isn't a searchable title. Interesting. I'll have to check it out.
How did you come up with the items on your list? For instance, you have listed Alphaville and Ambush. Did you read about them and just decided you wanted to watch them at some time? Or were they recommendations from friends?
Yes! And actually one people have heard of before.
Where did you come up with THIS title? I mean, I got the IMDb link, but how did you discover this gem?

Oh Bertie, Poor Bertie, Don't Tell Me You Watched This Or I'll Be Feeling So Sad!

Good additions.
All added. Good suggestions!
Sean
Yep, The Game was a good twisty one. I'll add it.
